‘Sulwe’ (Dholuo for star)

This is such a beautiful book about battling against racism and colorism and finding true beauty in yourself. I personally can relate to this but more so bought the book for my daughter because this is a book every black girl needs in her library.

I would recommend it for every child to help build their self esteem. Every family should have this book in their home library.
